VoxiVision portable reading and recognition system

Read, magnify and recognise with one device

With VoxiVision, blind and visually impaired people can read their own letters, labels and books again. Simply place the document under the camera and the device starts reading aloud on its own. This works with printed text as well as handwriting.

VoxiVision is about the size of a smartphone. At home it sits on the stand that comes with it, and when you go out you just take it with you. Instead of several separate aids, you only need one device. VoxiVision recognises barcodes and banknotes, magnifies text and objects and uses AI to describe what is in front of the camera. If you like, it can also summarise longer letters and answer your questions about the text you scanned.

The controls were developed together with users. Tactile buttons, voice commands and a simplified mode make it easy to get started, even without any technical knowledge.
